Eligibility
The program will be open to all majors within Emory College who meet the following requirements:
- Have a minimum 3.0 GPA (talk with an advisor about exceptions)
- Be in good academic standing and remain in good academic standing
- Be a rising junior or senior (have completed a minimum of 4 semesters of college-level work, which must have been completed in residence on a college and/or university campus)
- Enroll full-time at Emory (or accredited institution for visiting students) the semester prior to the study abroad term
- Emory international students on an F-1 visa who intern in the US must have declared a major in the College of Arts and Sciences
- Graduating seniors may also apply if they defer graduation to August 2022
- Additional language pre-requisites may apply for the following global cities:
- No prior internship experience required

- Select a program
- Click the "APPLY NOW" button on the program page to begin the application process.
- Login into the application system...
- For current Emory students, login using your Emory login and password
- For visiting students, create a new account with your email address as your username
- Once you login, select the program and term that you intend to apply for.
- Complete the application checklist based on instructions online.
- Once you begin an application, you will have the option to save the information and login at a different time to complete any materials.
- Applications will be accepted starting in mid-November each year.
- Please note summer applications have a $75 application fee due during the application phase. Students with demonstrated financial need should inquire about the waiver process for this cost.
- Application deadlines vary from late January to mid-February; check your specific program to be sure.
- The process is selective with rolling admissions.
- Accepted students will need to submit a $350 deposit to secure their space on the program. Students should be prepared to submit their deposit within 1-2 weeks of your acceptance.
- Pre-Departure information and orientations will be shared with students in March and April.
- Internships are 8-weeks (35 hours per week) plus additional days included for orientation and on-boarding. Internships run from late May / early June to late July / early August.
